Hina was admitted as a Solicitor in 1988. She started by working for a number of regional firms based in North West London and High Wycombe.
Whilst bringing up her two children, Hina worked as a locum Solicitor for Solicitors in London and Middlesex. Hina started working at Gillhams Solicitors in 1996 as a locum Solicitor on a part time basis. Hina progressed at Gillhams to working full time and becoming an Equity Partner. Hina remained at Gillhams until 2021 when she resigned.
From the outset Hina has specialised in Private Client Law. Her experience covers Wills, Lasting Powers of Attorney, Administration of Estates and Inheritance Tax planning. Over the years, Hina has a range of experience from dealing with straight forward matters to more handing much more complex matters including those with foreign elements.
Hina understands that as a Solicitor specialising in Probate work, her clients are grieving having just lost a loved one and her job is to make sure that they receive clear, accurate and relevant advice to deal with the legal aspects.
During her time at Gillhams, Hina was on the Panel of Deputies at the Court of Protection for over 10 years. Although Hina has now resigned as a Deputy, she has extensive experience in dealing with vulnerable adults who lack capacity to deal with their finances.
In her spare time, Hina enjoys working on arts and crafts including card making and crocheting. She also enjoys reading and going to the theatre and concerts.
