You will join our Litigation & Dispute Resolution team, working on substantial and complex disputes with real responsibility and direct client contact from the outset.

Your work will include:

• Shareholder disputes, unfair prejudice petitions and disputes between directors, shareholders, members and business owners.
• Corporate and commercial disputes involving owner-managed businesses, joint ventures, contractual claims and urgent injunctive matters.
• High-value commercial property disputes involving developers, landlords, tenants, investors and commercial occupiers.
• Advising clients on litigation risk, settlement strategy, interim applications, mediation and trial preparation.
• Drafting and overseeing pleadings, witness evidence, settlement agreements, applications, correspondence and court documentation.
• Working closely with colleagues across Commercial Property, Corporate, Private Client and other teams where disputes cross practice areas.
• Taking an active role in litigation strategy and helping shape how complex disputes are run, resourced and resolved.
• Building strong relationships with clients and providing practical, commercially focused advice throughout a matter.
• Supporting and developing junior members of the team.
• You will be trusted to bring sound judgment, commercial awareness and initiative to your matters, while working within a collaborative team that values technical excellence, practical thinking and professional development.

• A Solicitor qualified in England and Wales, ideally with 6+ years’ PQE in commercial litigation, although we are open to candidates whose experience and expertise are clearly relevant.
• Strong experience in complex, high-value litigation, particularly shareholder disputes, unfair prejudice petitions, corporate disputes and/or commercial property litigation.
• Excellent drafting, case analysis and strategic judgment.
• Confident dealing directly with clients, counsel, experts and opponents.
• A practical, commercially focused approach, with the ability to give clients clear advice, realistic options and decisive guidance.
• Comfortable taking ownership of complex matters and contributing to litigation strategy.
• A collaborative approach, with an interest in mentoring junior colleagues and contributing to tto the continued development of the Litigation & Dispute Resolution team.
