Conveyancing Guidance Fees

Every very case is unique. Our conveyancing team are highly experienced and can handle even the most complicated conveyancing transactions. We work closely with all our clients to help them achieve their preferred deadline. We offer competitive prices in respect of our fees and should be used a guide only. We are happy to discuss your property transaction and assist you in obtaining a quote by phone or in writing.

Residential conveyancing work is undertaken by Partners, Consultant Solicitors and qualified conveyancers/Solicitors ranging between a year and 25 years’ post-qualification experience. They will be supported, where applicable, by Paralegals, Support Staff, and Trainee Solicitors.

Our fees are based mainly on the time spent by the partners, solicitors and other staff involved in your matter. This includes: time spent on meetings; drafting of documents; reading and research; preparing and working on papers and correspondence; telephone calls and time travelling in connection with your matter.

We charge a fixed fee on a sliding scale, dependent on the value of the property concerned, as follows:

All disbursements will need to be paid in addition to the fees charged for our services. The majority of which are set by third parties and are out of our control.

It may be that there are other disbursements which may be payable depending on the nature of the property that is being purchased or sold. We will advise you as soon as we are able to do so.


Timescales

An average conveyance takes an approximation of between 8 to 10 weeks. Other factors may affect the estimated time scale such as result of local search, additional enquires, defective title, outstanding mortgage offer and as to whether the chain is complete.
