Experience

Anil is a senior disputes lawyer specialising in commercial litigation, white collar crime, financial crime and regulatory investigations.

He advises individuals, business owners and corporate entities on complex, high-value matters, including shareholder disputes, civil fraud and regulatory enforcement, with experience in multi-jurisdictional disputes and cross-border matters.

Anil has acted on matters involving the FCA, SFO, HMRC and other regulators, and is a specialist in confiscation and restraint proceedings under the Proceeds of Crime Act 2002 (PoCA).

In addition to his legal practice, Anil plays an ambassadorial role across the firm, working closely with the senior leadership team to support the continued growth and development of the business.

Representative Matters

Advised on a high-value shareholder dispute within a family business, successfully resolved through structured negotiations and mediation, achieving a £1.6 million settlement without court proceedings.
Acted in a multi-jurisdictional dispute involving UK, US and Middle East parties, including securing an anti-suit injunction in the High Court, leading to a $5 million settlement and a significant charitable contribution.
Represented directors and shareholders in relation to a £10 million dispute involving the ownership and control of a football club.
