Apart from five years in the City as a legal secretary in commercial/corporate finance and assistant company secretarial roles, I have extensive experience in criminal defence work since 1990, joining Vyman in 2022 as a caseworker in the Magistrates’ Court Team.  This has involved assisting solicitors and barristers with all types of cases ranging from minor motoring offences at the police station to murders at the Court of Criminal Appeal, liaising with agencies including HMCTS, CPS, police and Probation.
